fat loon farm emerged from a shared dream and a fishing trip. as we canoed past loons in the adirondacks, our dreams of starting a farm at ages 21 and 22 began to feel a bit more real. we didn’t catch much, but we carried our ideas to shore and brought them back home, onto paper, and into the ground – making fat loon farm a reality in september of 2024.

ABOUT FAT LOON FARM
we're marley and zoey, and we met farming together at the VT youth conservation corps farm. we quickly bonded as loonatics about farming and our shared dreams and drive to make them a reality. thus ensued months of working amongst ourselves, with our community, and with land owners to lease land and start fat loon farm. thank you deeply to all the incredibly people who have helped make owning and operating this magical place possible.
2025 was our first season growing on our very own farm -- a half-acre certified organic veggie operation with a side of berries, herbs, and dreams. we are ecstatic to continue our journey feeding and nurturing our community.
we want to feed people, to come together around food, and work towards a more inspiring, resilient food system. food (growing, eating, sharing) is joy; and we want to make that so for more people.
